Founded and led by the visionary leadership of Dr. Bhaskaran, Mrs. Shankari Sridharan, and Mrs. Sunita Reddy, the trust is headquartered in Bangalore, but its impact spans across several states in India.

Our Mission
Sri Vishalakshi Bharat Matha Charitable Trust (SVBM) is dedicated to empowering women, widows, and single women by helping them become self-reliant through education, skill training, and rehabilitation programs. awareness campaigns, rights education, and skill-based projects, we:
- Educate women about their rights and privileges.
- Organize vocational and entrepreneurial training to develop employable skills.
- Provide essential support like shelter, healthcare, and legal aid to women in crisis.
- Create opportunities for women to gain financial independence through self-employment.
Our mission is not only to empower women but also to equip them with the skills to transform their families and communities, fostering a brighter future for all.

Our vision
We envision a society where women, widows, and single women are empowered to lead lives of dignity, independence, and self-reliance. By fostering accountability in justice and governance systems and creating opportunities for skill development and education, we aim to eliminate violence, discrimination, and systemic barriers faced by women.

With ambitious plans to establish pan-India centres in the coming years, we are set to create revolutionary spaces for women’s holistic development.
